Peter Schmidt Group wins four honors at the CDP 2026

Four projects by Peter Schmidt Group have been recognized at the Corporate Design Preis CDP (Corporate Design Award): AUMOVIO, BARMER, Bellissimo Cafés, and Kiko Martins impressed the jury.

For three decades, the Corporate Design Preis CDP (Corporate Design Award) has been the only award in Germany dedicated exclusively to the design of brand identities. Its relevance extends far beyond the design industry, making it a valuable benchmark for companies when selecting agency partners. With four awards, the brand and design agency Peter Schmidt Group continues its strong performance in international creative competitions. In July alone, the agency celebrated ten awards at the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design and seven wins at Portugal’s Prémios Design Meios e Publicidade.

At the CDP, projects from a wide range of disciplines and industries were recognized. In addition to the minimalist yet meaningful logo developed for renowned Portuguese chef Kiko Martins, the packaging design for Bellissimo Cafés, and the custom typeface BARMER Beat, the jury also honored the new brand identity of technology company AUMOVIO.

For AUMOVIO, which emerged in 2025 from Continental’s automotive division, Peter Schmidt Group developed an entirely new brand identity within just ten months, including strategic positioning and naming. To achieve this, the agency worked closely with its partners Batten & Company (strategy) and BBDO (campaign). The work for AUMOVIO demonstrates Peter Schmidt Group’s expertise in successfully launching and globally implementing corporate spin-offs. In AUMOVIO’s case, this included the exciting challenge of inspiring 82,000 employees across diverse markets to embrace the new brand.

The visual identity positions AUMOVIO as a consistently future-focused player. “From the adaptive logo and distinctive color palette to the new corporate typeface, we developed a differentiated design system that gives the brand maximum flexibility to adapt to future developments,” explains Kristin Janoschka, Executive Director Consulting at Peter Schmidt Group.
